November is Lung Cancer Awareness Month

Experts from the Rutgers Tobacco Dependence Program share information on lung cancer prevention, which includes tobacco cessation.


​New Brunswick, N.J. - November 1, 2019 - During this National Lung Cancer Awareness Month, experts from the Rutgers Tobacco Dependence Program – supported by Rutgers Cancer Institute, Rutgers School of Public Health and Rutgers Robert Wood Johnson Medical School – share more about the causes and risk factors for lung cancer, which include smoking.  At focus is prevention, including tobacco cessation.
